Pantai Batu Hitam, which is just slightly further up from Kampung Beserah on the old road to Terengganu is one of a kind beach destination by reason of its peculiar black rocks on the beach. The beach is best experienced in the late afternoons just before sunset, when it is quiet and peaceful.
Locals frequent the spot where the black rocks are located to fish. There must be something good there as some of them would brave the strong waves and ragged edges of the rocks and venture out further to sea to cast their fishing lines. A food court with stalls selling drinks and Malay food is located a few metres next to the Pantai Batu Hitam Resort. Public restrooms available.
